Description
22″ X 34″
An unusual rug with a separate pattern on each side.
Most Navajo blankets and rugs are not identifiable as woven from a distinct area. Although certain patterns may generally come from a specific place (Storm Patterns normally are woven in the Western Reservation area), there exists great freedom of design throughout the Reservation. Today, in particular, weavers, being more mobile, take their particular styles with them as they tend to settle in different parts of the Reservation.
