The modern Two Gray Hills rugs represent the finest weaving on the Reservation. They are distinguished by being black-bordered rugs containing intricate geometric patterns. The rugs are woven exclusively of natural colored wools, and the Two Gray Hills weavers have attained a unique degree of artistry and technical skill. Many of these weavers specialize in small tapestries to be hung on the wall. Some of these pieces have extraordinary weft counts in excess of 120 to the inch.
